- Heat a medium size pressure cooker . Heat the oil and splutter mustard .When the mustard starts poping add cumin seeds , channa das , urd dal , toor dal , dry chllies , garlic , onion and stir until dals are browned and onions are soft.
- Add the turmeric powder and chilli powder . Stir well .
- Then add the methi leaves and potatoes with water and salt. Stir well and pressure cook till down . Cook till 3 or 4 whistles.
